This valve is placed on the outlet of the holding tank and is used to fill drums or other containers.  Conventional valves used here are guillotine valves that are made of carbon steel with brass seats.

We see two problems with that. First, carbon steel rusts and the casting is a great place for "stuff" to stick to, harbouring yeast and mold.  Second, the brass seat can (and will) eventually start to grind off, into your finished product.

Our solution; construct a new valve from food grade stainless steel with a rubber seal and no "grinding" action.  The rubber seal is easy to replace or clean and allows for a perfect seal.  The valve comes with your choice of connections and featured a no drip design.  The 11 position locking handle ensures that the valve cannon slip open.

This pump is used to move honey around.  Conventional pumps use a rubber stator with a rotating screw.  Over time, this rubber breaks down and ends up in your product.  These pumps are also primarily made of cast carbon steel, which lends itself the harbouring of yeast and mold.

Our Solution; a food grade stainless steel pump with all metal design, eliminating the need for rubber wear parts.  The rotary lobe design provides unmatched performance that will pump even the thickest substances.  All product contact surfaces are machined and have a food grade finish.  Available in single or variable speed, these pumps come complete on a stainless steel mounting skid with adjustable feet.

This filter may be used as a pre-filter prior to a finer finishing filter, or as a primary filter for raw or creamed honey.

Most filters available are either bag or mesh filters.  These types of filters have an extremely limited surface area, meaning that frequent bag changes are a must.  Plate filters provide ultra fine filtration with lots of surface area, but may be overkill and can be an expensive solution.  Other self cleaning filters available are designed primarily for water and are not sanitary in design, and can also be very expensive.
